Title: Highways Project Manager
Location: South of England
Salary: up to £92,000 plus £6,000 car allowance
Working Schedule: Hybrid with 4 days at home
 
About My Client:
 
My client is a leading specialist provider of overhead line and sub-station services in the UK, delivering construction and infrastructure. They are looking for a project manager with heavy civil experience to work on the enabling works on the sub-stations in the south.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
- Support in securing new projects in line with strategic plans.
- Manage overall profit and loss for both standard and complex projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain and promote a collaborative working environment.
 
Skills and Experience:
 
- Experience within a similar role at a tier-one contractor.
- Proven experience at a management level within the highways sector.
- Strong people management skills.
- Commercial awareness with proficiency in budgetary and financial control.
- Ability to navigate and resolve complex operational and commercial problems across  interest groups.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations, with the capability to address sensitive issues.
