Perfect Recruitment are recruiting for a CDP, for our client based in Scorton, Preston (Lancashire).

Our client runs a very busy, fast paced restaurant, producing all menu items from fresh ingredients, to ensure customers receive the best experience possible.

Duties:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation & portion size.

- Co-ordinate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.

- Work efficiently to meet high volume demands.

- Conduct regular quality checks.

- Always follow proper food safety and health & safety procedures, including storage, handling, and cooking practices.

- Contribute ideas for menu improvements.

- Show leadership and team management skills.

- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.

- Communicate effectively with all staff members.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a chef in a fast-paced environment.

- Relevant culinary qualifications.

- Ability to work well under pressure.

- Excellent time management & organisational skills.

- Attention to detail.

- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques.

- Availability to work weekends.

£13ph – based on a 42.5-hour week – equivalent salary of £28,730 per year.
