We are recruiting a Business Development Manager for a company widely seen as a market leader within the automotive aftermarket and associated industries. They are a market leader in the supply of a broad range of products, technical support, and supply services for various vehicles, systems, equipment, and engines.

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities within the CV and off-road channels. Your responsibilities will include maintaining client relationships, prospecting potential clients, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to achieve sales targets.

In return, the company will offer you a salary of £55,000 - £60,000, a bonus, a car or car allowance, and 25 days of holiday.

You will be based remotely; however, you will have to travel to the head office in the Midlands on a monthly basis.

The company has an enviable list of customers, and you will manage accounts and look for new opportunities to increase sales.

You will be from the commercial vehicle aftermarket and understand the UK buying groups, CV factors, and specialists. It would be an advantage if you had experience of off-road, namely agriculture and heavy plant distribution.

It is envisaged that to be successful in the role you will have: 

  1. Several years of proven experience in a similar role, showcasing your prowess in sales and relationship-building within the automotive aftermarket.

  2. The ability to navigate through MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. 

  3. Proven experience in increasing sales within the commercial vehicle parts sector.

  4. Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland.
