My client are a leading multi-disciplined construction consultancy that have been in business for over 5 decades. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their Manchester based team. 

Ideally the candidate will hold a degree in a construction related subject and have minimum 3+ years experience in a client facing position managing multiple projects and clients within the education and healthcare sectors. Extensive pre and post-contract experience is required as well as knowledge and experience of working with local authorities nd healthcare trusts.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day delivery of projects
• Engaging with Clients and developing, growing and maintaining Client relationships
• Developing the project management strategy and delivery
• Producing cost plans, feasibility studies
• Manage Risk processes and Value Management
• Liaising with the client, contractors, and designers
• Managing sub-consultants and Construction Managers
• Attending and chairing meetings

Skills and Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• JCT and NEC contract experience
• Be conversant in large project delivery (up to £100m)
• Excellent Neogtiation skills
• Successfully manage and prioritise multiple projects and different stages of delivery
• Development of new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Microsoft office proficiency
