Job Title: Sales Consultant - Security Industry

Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire 📍

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm with one-hour unpaid lunch break.

Remuneration: £35,000 per annum (Basic) + Commission 💰

Contract Details: Permanent, Full-time ⏰

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tenders and quotations for Security Systems, including Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, and Door Entry 📝
• Generate new enquiries to achieve sales targets and handle incoming enquiries 📊
• Give presentations to customers, either on-site or at our premises 📢
• Maintain a 50% office-based, 50% fieldwork balance to meet clients 👥
• Quote for takeovers and upgrades of existing systems 💼

Essential Skill Set:

• Knowledge of Intruder Alarm Systems (Eaton Range, Pyronix, Honeywell)
• Familiarity with CCTV (Hikvision IP/TVI, Pelco, DM, Adpro, Optex, RVR Solutions)
• Proficiency in Access Control (ACT, Paxton)
• Understanding of Door Entry (BPT, Fermax, Videx - IP and Analogue)
• Expertise in External Lighting (GJD)
• Familiarity with GUI (Cortech)
• Knowledge of Monitoring Systems (RedCARE, DualCom, ARC/RVR, GSM/PSTN Diallers)
• Awareness of Standards (NSI)
• Appreciation of contract law
• IT skills in WORD and EXCEL
