Purchase Ledger Clerk

Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering a high-growth business in Wigan as they look to bolster their AP function with the addition of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant capable hitting the ground running in a fast-paced, end-to-end role taking full ownership of your supplier accounts.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Processing all transactions for suppliers and expense claimants
- Reviewing POs
- Preparing weekly aged creditors summary
- Investigating any aged debt and taking corrective action
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Setting up new suppliers
- Supporting month-end ledger close
- Bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc projects
- Sales ledger cover when required
- Good IT and MS Excel skills
- Able to build and maintain long-lasting working relationships
- Previous experience within Purchase Ledger
- Good attention to detail and analytical skills
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Able to work collaboratively and independently
- 25 days holiday + bank hols (rising to 30!)
- Hybrid working 2/3 days per week
- 40 hours per week – 8:30am - 5:30pm
