Salary of the Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / HGV Technician / Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Mobile HGV Mechanic / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Mobile Fleet Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic: £45,000 - £50,000pa (negotiable for the right candidate) plus overtime at 1.5, plus Company Van and phone
Hours of the Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / HGV Technician / Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Mobile HGV Mechanic / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Mobile Fleet Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with Thursday per week finishing at 20:00pm and paid overtime from 5pm - 8pm
Responsibilities of the Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / HGV Technician / Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Mobile HGV Mechanic / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Mobile Fleet Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic:
- Carrying out scheduled servicing inspection and preparation for testing as required for all fleet and customer vehicles (HGV to LCV vehicles)
- Undertaking regular safety inspections of HGV's in accordance with the statutory requirements to maintain Goods Vehicle Operators Licence and repair defects as necessary.
- Inspecting vehicles to diagnose faults (mechanical/electrical/hydraulic) and repair as necessary.
- Completing all necessary records relating to the inspection, service and repair of all fleet items in accordance with statutory and administrative requirements.
- Liaising with colleagues, vehicle operatives and managers to prioritise workload, organise replacement parts and/or specialist support when required.
This Mobile HGV Technician role will be covering the North West, but mainly the Merseyside area.
