Speech and Language Teaching Assistant – Scarborough

Salary: £83 – £100 per day*

GSL Education is working exclusively with a Special Needs School in Scarborough and are seeking to employ Speech and Language Teaching Assistants for 1:1 and small group support. Our North Yorkshire Office services Special Needs School, Pupil Referral Units and mainstream Secondary Schools across Scarborough, York, Selby and the surrounding areas. As a company, we work closely with Head Teachers and SENCOs to ensure the staff provided and right for each individual setting.

As a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, you will be working with young people with Education Health Care Plans in place, to develop and promote their communication skills. This will be through the use of sensory equipment, PECs and Makaton.
