Pay Rate: £11.74 - £13.24

Hours per week: Variable Shift Rota - 18:00 - 04:00, 19:00 - 03:00, 20:00 - 03:00 - 30 hours per week

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for General Operator to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in Hollinwood Ave Chadderton Oldham

We are looking for a multi trained individual, who may want to learn to a team leader level.

Key Responsibilities:

Palletiser

• Working from a spec sheet, you will be palletising bundles of newspapers to the client’s requirements.
• No experience is required as full training will be given.

Feeding hoppers:

• Feed inserts and printed sections into Ferag hoppers to be mechanically inserted into newspaper.
• No experience is required as full training will be given.

Reclaim:

• Making sure any newspapers coming down F.A.T. and insert returns tray are fully inserted with any inserts or sections that are missing, bundled correctly and sent, or taken to the line to be strapped.
• No experience is required as full training will be given.

General housekeeping:

• Keeping all areas tidy to promote a safe working environment. This task is to be carried out at the end of production runs and at any such time that presses or Ferag lines are down. General housekeeping includes sweeping and cleaning machines, any other task required by management.
