DevOps Engineer {Pharmaceutical}

Are you a highly experienced DevOps Engineer with experience in Symfony looking to play a crucial role in the continued success of a fast-growing e-commerce pharmaceutical company?

The current infrastructure is cloud ready, but is set up as a Virtual host environment, and we are looking for someone to configure ansible scripts for deployment, configure GitHub actions for pipelines in github pull requests, configure new servers and network setup to take us to a cloud configuration with a robust, easily deployable back-up solution with off-site backups.

In this role, the successful DevOps Engineer will work very closely with the Lead Developer setting up a new cloud environment suitable for a symfony rebuild of a legacy application.

You will define a set of deployment scripts that can be used by developers to provision new servers and deploy code onto currently provisioned servers. Taking the responsibility of deployment away from ssh into ansible scripts and thus reducing risk and security concerns

Ability to understand the requirements of a symfony based web application, cross communication using message queues, network latency with database transactions, load balancing and nginx/ php configuration is a must.

• Bring legacy setup into the cloud to support a symfony rebuild within a cloud network.
