Requirements:

• At least a 2:1 in a sports-related degree.
• A passion for the field of physical education.
• Natural ability to build strong bonds with students aged 11-16.
• An outgoing, friendly personality.
• Commitment to following strict safeguarding procedures.
• Previous experience of working with students, or in a school setting is beneficial but not mandatory.

 
As a Sports Coach, you will provide classroom- based support to GCSE PE students as they learn about the human body and the fundamentals of physical education. In addition to this, you will provide students with field-based guidance as students partake in a variety of activities from football and rugby matches to athletics tournaments. The support strategies that you will provide to under-achieving students will be on both a 1-2-1 and small group basis and will support the students’ classwork, as well as their active abilities.
 
You will be working in close collaboration with an experienced staff body who will endeavour to support you as you settle into your new role.
