Bioler Operative / Facilities Maintenance Engineer - Days based 

I am currently recruiting a Boiler Operative / Facilities Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair a two large gas fired boilers as well as site services for a large manufacturing business. 

My client, a busy manufacturing business based in Oldham. They are looking to recruit this role on a permanent basis. 

The Boiler Operative / Facilities Maintenance Engineer position is a day based role, Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday afternoon (3pm). 

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of relevant machinery including - 

• Gas boilers
• Steam autoclaves
• Steam lines
• Traction and hydraulic lifts
• Waste effluent plant
• Compressed air systems
• Domestic water systems and cooling towers

You will be required to ensure all legislation and site procedures are adhered to including –

• Health, safety and hygiene
• Legionella compliance as per L8 code of practice
• LOLER examinations
• Pressure regulations

Skills and experience required –

• Must have BOAS accreditation
• Experience in NDT Preparation for testing of vessels
• Plumbing skills in line with maintenance duties
• Experience in steam supplies and pipe fitting skills
