Science Technician

Prospero Teaching are looking to appoint a Science Technician to join a secondary academy in St Helens. The successful candidate will work with the Science faculty and team of technicians to ensure students have access to high quality educational experiences. The role is an integral part of the academy offering students access to an exciting and engaging Science curriculum.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - St Helens
• Position - Science Technician
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full time
• DBS essential
• Minimum rate of pay - £80 per day
• Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a UK school as a Science Technician (desirable)
• Hold a Scientific degree
• Up to date safeguarding training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
• Up to date prevent awareness training in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide at least two professional child related references
