Working with a leading national brand in their search for a permanent Business Process Analyst paying £55,000 base + car or car allowance + bonus and great benefits. This will require 2 days a week travelling to various sites around the UK.

This role profile is a guide to the work you will initially be required to undertake. It may be changed from time to time to incorporate changing circumstances, and you may be required to be flexible and perform other duties as required by your manager. It does not form part of your contract of employment.

Overall Purpose of the Role

The Business Process Analyst is tasked with examining and analysing business processes within to identify areas for improvement that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role involves mapping existing processes, analysing performance metrics, and recommending enhancements to ensure optimal business operations and service delivery.

Main Role Responsibilities

1. Process Mapping and Documentation
- Create detailed maps of existing business processes to establish a clear understanding of current workflows.
- Document processes comprehensively, capturing all steps, variations, and interdependencies.

2. Process Analysis
- Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas of improvement.
- Evaluate process performance against key business metrics and objectives.

3. Process Redesign and Improvement
- Develop recommendations for process changes that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to redesign processes using best practices like Lean or Six Sigma.

4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Communicate changes and rationale effectively to all relevant parties to facilitate understanding and buy-in.

5. Implementation Support
- Support the implementation of new or improved processes, including planning, monitoring, and reviewing the changes.
- Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure technological compatibility and support for new process implementations.

6. Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
- Establish metrics and monitoring systems to evaluate the effectiveness of new processes.
- Continuously assess process performance and initiate further improvements based on feedback and evolving business needs.

Essential

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability to work with large data sets and convert complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in Process Mapping: Proficient in using process mapping tools and methodologies to visualise and analyse workflows.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify issues and generate effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate process changes and impacts across all levels of the organisation.
