Recruitment Consultant Job Description:
  
Candidate Responsibilities:  
  • To check and record candidate applications daily from your Applied folder and ensure that you contact each by telephone but then by email if unsuccessful
  • Ensure that each candidate completes all relevant documentation including the Application form, Reference form, Right to Work, etc and you check all information
  • Conduct face-to-face registrations with all candidates either in the office or on a suitable platform etc Teams, WhatsApp, etc
  • Prepare CVs and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure you spell and grammar check all submissions to create a good impression to the client
  • Arrange interviews for candidates and take responsibility for their interview preparation
  • Arrange a de-brief with candidates following the interview, provide their feedback to the client, and gain as much information for them as possible
  • Inform candidates of the outcome of their interview, preferably on the telephone, as soon as the result is available
  • Prepare letters of appointments/confirmation of roles including pay/salary rates, start dates, etc
  • Offer advice to candidates on salary expectations, career progression, CV improvements, and general guidance
  • Ensure documentation for each candidate is completed in line with company expectations including each section highlighted “For Office Use Only”
  • Keep in touch and build relationships with your candidates
  • Manage all your temporary candidates and ensure you keep the planner updated
  • Ensure you adhere to the SLAs set out below
Client Responsibilities:
  • To build relationships with clients
  • Use business development and marketing techniques to attract business from clients
  • Arrange and attend client visits including service visits
  • Develop a good understanding of the clients, their business, how they work, and their culture/values
  • Write detailed, attractive job descriptions for all roles that you secure
  • Carry out credit checks for all new clients and ensure you have relevant documentation signed in advance
  • Ensure you adhere to SLA’s set out below

  • Proven recruitment experience, either in-house or agency background

  • MS Office skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects 
Hours:  Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Salary: DOE
