We are seeking an enthusiastic HVAC Office Trainee to join a dynamic team within the commercial heating and ventilation (HVAC) sector. This permanent position offers excellent rates of pay with the opportunity for significant career progression, making it ideal for individuals looking to advance their career in the construction industry and gain hands-on experience in a supportive workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the general day-to-day management of HVAC projects, including ordering materials, arranging labour, and ensuring health and safety requirements are met.
  • Measure and take off materials from construction drawings and project specifications.
  • Obtain quotations for materials and sub-contract packages.
  • Learn all aspects of estimating functions and progress tender submissions.
  • Make sales calls to generate tender opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSEs graded levels 4-9 (A-C) (Level 6 (B) or higher in both English and Maths preferred).
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Friendly and polite manner.
  • Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work to tight deadlines.

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
