New Role in Social Housing: Housing and Compliance Officer

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,338 per year

Are you passionate about creating safe, dignified living spaces? Our client is expanding, and seeking a Housing Coordinator to join them. In this role, you'll provide ongoing support and guidance to licensees, ensuring their safety, well-being, and compliance with licence terms.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular health and safety checks on properties.Perform housing inspections.Facilitate house meetings.Coordinate monthly fire drills and address concerns.Update housing and fire risk assessments.Assist clients with home choice and benefit applications.Support clients in managing licence agreements and addressing anti-social behaviour.

Requirements:

Housing training or qualifications (preferred but not essential).Conflict management experience.Familiarity with social housing.Strong IT skills.Resilience and compassion.Organisational skills with attention to detail.
