Are you passionate about nurturing the well-being of young minds and creating a positive impact in a school community? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for a Lead Pastoral Worker to work full time at a primary school and others in the Dewsbury from September 2024.

The school are committed to fostering an environment that is supportive and inclusive, where every child can thrive both academically and emotionally. They are looking to enhance holistic education and pupil support by appointing someone to a lead pastoral role.

As a dedicated Lead Pastoral Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social and emotional well-being of our primary school students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a collaborative support network.
  • Providing one-on-one and group support sessions to address emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create tailored intervention plans.
  • Implementing programs that promote positive behaviour, resilience, and mental well-being.
  • Actively participating in team meetings and professional development activities.
