Manager of Engineering & Design | FEED, EPC, Energy

Location: Warrington, UK (Hybrid)

ENG Bauen is working closely with our client as they look to engage with Engineering/Project Managers who have vast exposure in managing front-end developments, detailed design, and execution of small, medium, and large capital projects.

As a global EPC organisation, our client has set out a strategic growth strategy in the UK for 2024 due to substantial project wins within the energy, oil, gas and chemical sectors. The growth will see a sizeable increase in the current engineering and project management functions within the business.

As part of this growth strategy, the organisation is now looking to engage with Project/Engineering managers who have experience working on FEED packages and full-lifecycle projects and who can manage multi-disciplinary project teams whilst coordinating and delivering engineering projects throughout various stages of a project's life cycle.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering professional looking to step into a senior-level position where you will directly influence the delivery of EPC projects while acting as a focal point and line manager for the engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet project goals, objectives, and deadlines
• Manage a team of discipline Engineering managers and engineers
• Act as the interface between project teams and senior management
• Develop and implement project plans and schedules
• Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as necessary
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Manage project budgets and financial performance

The person:

• 5–10 years of experience delivering EPC projects in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Nuclear or similar sectors
• Proven track record of delivering NEC/EPC projects on time and within budget
• Experience managing small to medium-sized multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Strong technical knowledge in engineering and project management (Good NEC3/4 knowledge)
• Degree or relevant engineering qualifications (BSc, MEng, HNC, HND,)
