My Client are a leading M&E Contractor operating across the commercial and residential sector.

They handle the complete design, installation, distribution, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of all mechanical and electrical (M&E) services.

They are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their team in Gillingham, Kent.

Electrical Estimator – Leading Contractor

Duties

• Provide precise project cost assessments for electrical installations and specialized packages, including PV systems, Electric Vehicle Charging, Fire & AOV Systems, and more.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tender proposals, ensuring compliance with specifications and deadlines.
• Manage and respond to both internal and external customer enquiries, interpret specifications and drawings, and adhere to project deadlines.
• Perform drawing take-offs and gather quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend weekly team meetings.

Experience

• Experience presenting tenders to clients on behalf of the Company.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• An in-depth knowledge of the residential and commercial construction sectors.
• Ability to read tender specifications and drawings, and produce detailed pricing cost plan.
• Prior experience in a comparable role is advantageous.
• Full UK driver's licence

Salary

The salary on offer for this role is £50k-£60k+package,depending upon previous experience.
