Are you passionate about shaping the future and inspiring young minds?

Our client is a social value organisation, who works with primary school-aged pupils to young adults to develop, shape and inspire tomorrow's workforce.

In this role, you will coordinate, develop, deliver, and report on the organisation’s Effective Transition Fund project. You will lead both group and 1-2-1 mentoring sessions with students in Key Stage 4 + Post 16 who may be disengaged and facing barriers in their education and learning.

**Please note that this is a fixed-term post until the end of February 2027, aligned with our client’s delivery in partnership with the Liverpool City Region Careers Hub and funded by the Careers and Enterprise Company.**

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Active listener with excellent people skills
  • Comfortable working with groups of students in a classroom setting
  • Enjoy creating and developing engaging workshops
  • Ability to build trust with students and parents/carers
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Clean driving licence with the use of your own vehicle

What will your role look like?

  • Coordinate, Develop, and Deliver: Lead "education to Post 16 pathways" transition activities
  • Mentor Young People: Conduct both group and one-on-one mentor sessions with students in Years 10 & 11
  • Create Workshops: Develop workshops to aid young people in their post-16 choices and ensure they sustain those destinations
  • Demonstrate Values: Transform the lives of young people within the Liverpool City Region by embodying our client’s core values
