Pipefitters required for ongoing contract working on marine vessels for the defence industry.
These roles offer immediate opportunities with the potential for long-term employment dependant on your quality performance.
These roles are ideal for candidates living within the Merseyside, Wirral and surrounding areas with previous marine experience within shipyard/dockyard.
Duties include pipe fabrication, pipe bending, using saws, cutting torches and threading machines. The role may involve the overhaul of main machine room pumps, fabricating pipe runs, installing valves, perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
Applicants should have City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent Pipefitting qualifications.
Benefits
- £19.22 PAYE for the first 38 hrs.
- Overtime paid at time and half for weekdays and Saturdays. Double time for Sundays / Bank holidays.
