Administration Officer

Location:
Shotton, County of Flintshire

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily administrative tasks such as office management, visitor pass requests, meeting with visitors at the gatehouse, arranging visitor inductions, and preparing daily timesheets.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments for relevant employees and team members.
  • Maintain and update company databases, records, and filing systems.
  • Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of contracts, proposals, and other documents.
  • Manage car rental agreements, hotel bookings, and travel arrangements.
  • Oversee office supply inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Assist in organizing company events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
  • Perform general outside administrative duties.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in administrative and HR roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and time management systems.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with construction industry terminology and processes is a plus.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
