Our client is seeking a Credit Control Supervisor to oversee and assist the outsourced Collections Team / build and maintain excellent relationships.
Key Responsibilities as Credit Control Supervisor:
- Ensure collections are received in line with client terms and disputes and late payments are resolved in a timely manner, through management of the offshore collections team and direct resolution with the client where necessary.
- Ensure cash application by the offshore team is performed in an accurate and timely manner, and unallocated cash is investigated and resolved.
- Manage the customer setup process and associated administration of customer data.
- Ensure system data is reconciled and maintained on a regular basis, including client data.
- Implement improvements in the processes and workflows.
- To ensure appropriate escalation of issues when they arise, minimise issue turnaround time and reoccurrence of issues through improved processes.
- Ensure that a rigorous control environment operates without exception across the accounts receivable function and be a contact for both internal and external testers of the control environment.
- To be able to tailor communications to different stakeholders.
- To oversee our Cash Forecasting process – preparing the Forecast’s get them approved.
Key Requirements:
- Very organised with good attention to detail
- Experience of supervising / managing junior staff
- Quick to learn and adaptable to changing work allocation, while able to delegate tasks effectively and also perform tasks when team members are absent
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Good Excel knowledge
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Strong team player
- Industry experience desirable
- 5+ Years’ experience desirable
- Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Knowledge of Microsoft AX desirable but not essential.
