We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer - Power based in Scotland.
*For all field roles – offshore work is required so individual must be trained or willing to be trained.

What you’ll do:
- Installation of power products on customer site
- Installation of TC products on customer site
- Commission and decommissioning of power products on customer site
- Commission of TC products on customer site
- Fit data loggers & power analysers
- Attend equipment breakdowns
Electrical
- Deliver generator applications - Motor starting and variable voltage
- Carry out load testing using sigma PC software
- Deliver no break sync applications - grid lock
- Telemetry installation in field
- Basic electrical fault finding < 1500v dc and <1000v ac
- Be able to operate fleet load bank
- Low voltage switching, maintenance, isolation, commissioning
- Deliver TC/MC applications
- Carry out F Gas checks
The duties described above cover the focus of the role, however from time to time you may be required to carry out any other duties which are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Technical capability (power and ideally temperature control)
- A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent (Mechanical and or Electrical)
- Good organisational & communication skills
- Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
- Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards
- Able to manage a client’s expectations when under pressure, regardless of the situation
- Must hold a full, clean and valid driving licence
- Must be aible to work out of hours as and when required, and be part of the on-call rota
