Working with a well-established engineering company who are now on the lookout for a Design Engineer to join their ever-growing team based in Wotton-under-Edge.

Key Responsibilities – Design Engineer

• Maintain all standards of Health and Safety Rules of the Company.
• Work within the company’s ISO9001:2015 system.
• Maintain good standards in the work place, keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Operate and use office machines as authorised in accordance with manufacturers’ operating instructions. 
• Attend meetings and training as required. This may include visiting customers’ sites to carry out design duties.
• Solidworks – design of new products & components, jigs fixtures and related materiel as directed by the DO Manager
• Paracad – to maintain historic records on the Paracad system.
• DAR – maintain & control the change record system.
• General office duties as required or directed including help with answering the phones in the sales office.

Qualifications & Experience – Design Engineer

• Experience as a Design Engineer within an Engineering/Workshop environment
• Design qualification desirable
• Experience with working with AutodCAD 2D & 3D
