Salary/Rate:
£55,000 - £65,000/annum + OTE

The role of a Head of Sales is to lead the sales team and drive revenue growth for the business by setting sales targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, and managing the sales team to achieve their goals.

Skills / Knowledge

Required:

  • 10/15 + years’ experience in senior sales role with 10+ years of people management
  • Experience running successful multi source teams (telesales / field)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Superb leadership, with ability to mentor/coach
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Experience managing outsourced function
  • Industry experience in Financial Services

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with Commercial Director, develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Set sales targets and ensure that the sales team achieves
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the executive team.
  • Recruit, train and manage the sales team to ensure they have the skills and resources necessary to meet their targets.
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop/implement plan for upskilling.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Recoveries, Finance other departments to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities and improve sales processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team to ensure they are motivated and engaged.
