A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Graduate / Assistant Town Planner in Edinburgh!

My client is an independent chartered Town Planning and Development Consultancy currently working to deliver a wide variety of development projects across the UK, on a range of excited projects within residential, retail, tourism, renewable energy, health & education, and rural and heritage.

For the ideal candidate, my client is happy to offer a competitive starting salary, as well as an accompanying benefits package! You will also be supported in your professional, and personal, development, and provided a mentor towards your APC!

The current team offer a full supply of planning services and are looking for an ambitious graduate or assistant planner to support the existing team. Some of the services provided include strategy & development appraisals, planning applications, appeals and expert witness, representations, community engagement and more!

Candidate Requirements

  • RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning, or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a planning role advantageous, either public or private sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about planning
