Our clients are recognised as a leading UK based Engineering Consultancy specialising in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical and Geo-environmental engineering. providing a fully comprehensive engineering package for clients, with national coverage, from  North and South based offices With 50 years’ experience in the industry, they understand the requirements of a project, large or small.

They are looking to recruit a talented, driven Graduate Geotechnical & Geo-environmental Engineer.

The role will involve the environmental and geotechnical investigation of land for future development including working under the supervision of Senior Engineers on a variety of different geotechnical/geo-environmental projects/sites 

  • Visiting sites to carry out walkovers, trial pitting, soakaway testing, supervising borehole investigations, verification of capping, gas monitoring etc.
  • Preparing Phase 1 and 2 geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation reports
  • Liaising with clients, regulators, site staff and other staff within the company

The Geotechnical and Geo-environmental team have a wide range of experience. We carryout site investigations, coal mining risk assessments, earthworks, land remediation as well as complex geotechnical design. The team prides itself on being friendly, supportive and promoting a hands-on learning environment to benefit professional and technical development.

Candidates should have or expect to obtain a Bachelor or Masters Degree in Geology, Earth Science or Geography, and have three good A-Levels or equivalent. We encourage and support our people in continuing professional development and provide a clear route for progression through the firm.

A full driving licence is essential. You must have a car for work purposes to which appropriate mileage will be paid to accommodate maintenance costs.
