About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a schools in Sheffield, starting immediately. This role is ideal for a teacher who is committed to fostering a love of literature and language among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons in line with the British education curriculum.
  • Plan and prepare lessons that cater to the diverse abilities of students.
  • Assess, track, and report on students' progress.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Participate in and contribute to the school's academic and extracurricular programmes.

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have a strong knowledge of the English curriculum and a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching.
  • Be passionate about teaching and dedicated to student success.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
