The Client
Our client is a market leading and forward-thinking community healthcare services provider. This provider support both primary and secondary care services, ensuring a seamless and delivery of Dermatology provision to patients that have been referred from GP services and or NHS Trusts.

Role: Dermatology Consultant
Location: Swindon
Days available: Monday-Friday
Hours: 0900-1800 (or similar)
Rate: £132.50

The Role
You will be responsible for for high quality clinical care to adult patients attending the community Dermatology service, including new patients and follow up patients.
You will treat non-two-week wait lesions and general conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema...
You will examine, assess and patients presenting with Dermatological conditions.
You will obtain comprehensive patient medical histories, conduct physical examinations and order necessary diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on accurate diagnoses and individual patient needs.
You will prescribe medications, recommend therapies, and provide interventions to alleviate symptoms and promote healing.
You will perform or refer in-house for minor procedures, such cryotherapy and intralesional steroid injections.
You will educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and preventive measures.
You will provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, self-care practices, and the proper use of medications.
You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including minor surgery clinicians and general practitioners, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
You will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, treatment plans, and outcomes.

The Candidate
Medical Degree and Registration: Medical Degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) and be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
Dermatology Diploma
Up to date with all Mandatory Training
You will have experience in diagnosing and treating Dermatology conditions, within a healthcare setting.
You will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Dermatological conditions as well as current evidence-based practice guidelines in Dermatology. (edited)
