Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a well known Engineering Company in their search for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to work in their leading facility in Lytham.

For the successful Multi-Skilled Engineer our client is offering:

• £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
• 4 out of 5 days Mon - Fri (37 hours)
• Permanent
• 4 day week
• 5 weeks holidays
• Performance based rewards and gift cards

The role - Multi-Skilled Engineer:

• To respond quickly and efficiently to machine breakdowns, communicating progress to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Responsible for budget spend up £1000. Seeking approval for spend in excess of this.
• To complete any preventative plant maintenance, maintain the full appropriate documentation, identifying and escalating any faults they are unable to rectify.
• Ensure spare parts stock is maintained and re-ordered as required.
• Ensure quality compliance, completing routine documentation in accordance with manufacturing requirements.
• Support the development and training of Apprentices.
• Responsible for all electrical/ mechanical contractors in site including all documentation e.g. Systems of Work, Permit to work. Risk assessments etc.

What our client is looking for in a Multi-Skilled Engineer:

• NVQ 4 /HNC in Mechanical Engineering - Essential
• Previous experience of mechanical engineering maintenance in a manufacturing environment is essential - Essential
• Mechanical, Pneumatic and Welding
• IOSH, COSHH
