Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with a strong electrical background and basic mechanical skills. The successful candidate will have extensive industrial and commercial experience, working with a variety of systems including electrical motors, pumps, air-conditioning, HVAC, control systems, and inverters.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Service and maintain a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment across various premises.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical motors, pumps, air-conditioning, HVAC systems, control systems, and inverters.
- Perform electrical installations in compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to customer procedures, such as entry/exit protocols, and maintain high standards of health and safety.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, building strong relationships and providing excellent service.
- Work independently, taking initiative and completing tasks to the required timescales and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong industrial electrical background.
- Ideally 18th Edition qualified.
- Experience with three-phase electrical systems.
- Understanding of electrical controls, inverters, and starters.
- Full valid UK driving licence.
- Previous experience working with motors and pumps.
- Ability to adhere to customer procedures and health and safety policies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence positively.
- Self-motivated with the drive to complete tasks independently.
- A keen interest in engineering and technology solutions.
