Religious Education Teacher

£30,000 - £46,525 (PAYE - No Umbrella Company)

This outstanding Secondary School based in St.Helens are looking for a progressive and supportive religious education teacher to join their team. This will be a long term role starting in September through until the end of the academic year with the possibility to go permanent. We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic RE teacher who can deliver inspiring lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed and induction support will be available.

As a Religious Education Teacher you'll be expected to:

• Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Maintain discipline.
• Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
• Have a passion for teaching secondary maths
• To deliver religious education lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 - 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.

The Successful Religious Education Teacher must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience Of Teaching Religious Education
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Able to provide Referees.
• An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Passionate about teaching Religous Education
