We are looking for a Junior CAD Technician & Project Support in the NW or NE to join a long-established firm of electrical and mechanical contractors just outside Manchester.

The remuneration package is £19k - £24k pa depending on experience, along with a very attractive employee bonus scheme paying up to 20% of annual salary in year two. Working 45 hours per week, Mon – Friday (flexible on start & finish times) and reporting to the CAD Manager, our client offers a full range of electrical and mechanical services with contracts typically including offices, new and refurbishment work in hospitals, healthcare environments, new commercial and industrial buildings, hotels, pharmaceutical, historical, retail outlets and shopping centres.

Day to day duties:

- Programme - Autodesk AutoCAD LT

- Responsible for liaising with engineering team to ensure all drawing requirements are met.

- Turning red-pen, marked up drawings into professional, technical documents – in-line with the companies CAD standards.

- Altering Construction drawings to create updated, As Fitted drawings to reflect works carried out by the company.

- Administer project RAMS & Health and safety documentation created by other member of the project team.

- Compile all post-construction project information into a company branded O&M manual – with assistance from project managers.

- Responsible for plotter/printer – including maintenance, ordering, and checking supplies/stock (ink and paper)

- Assist with Booking engineers accommodation.

Essentials:

- CAD experience

- Admin skills
