Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:15 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Job Description

Are you a skilled and dedicated Bench Joiner. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing bespoke joinery items, working with various types of wood and finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Cut, shape, and assemble wood components with precision
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and project requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or similar role
  • Excellent woodworking skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness
