We have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and professionally qualified Managing Consultant to lead our change management team. We are looking for a thought leader. As Change Lead you will help shape and deliver the vision for change management across all of our work.

Steeped in the world of change, you must be intensely curious about new ways to enable people and organisations to navigate major change successfully. You will play many roles, ranging from continuously strengthening our approach, supporting our sales and marketing activity, and delivering high impact change support to our clients.

As Change Lead your key responsibilities will be:

  • A thought leader - providing expert advice and guidance on change management best practices internally across the Ignite team and within our clients
  • Business Development - leading and supporting business development activity, including driving account growth, campaigning and bid development
  • A team leader – leading and managing Ignite consultants, inspiring them to do great work
  • An account manager – building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, driving high performance and looking after all aspects of client and resource management
  • Client delivery - leading teams, projects and workstreams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality outcomes for complex client challenges
  • A problem solver - using change expertise to develop solutions to solve client's business problems
  • A capability builder – building strong, organisation-wide change capability across our clients, showcasing our APMG accreditation credentials where appropriate
  • A skilled communicator – excellent in all forms of communication, and able to influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation

Role overview

Leadership & delivery

Being a Managing consultant at Ignite means being able to manage a client account, building senior relationships built upon trust and credibility. You will lead complex client projects spanning a range of technical areas. It requires a breadth of technical expertise combined with strong leadership skills,

Proposition

You will need to develop a deep understanding of the full range of Ignite propositions and when, where and how they should be deployed. You may take ownership of a proposition area, ensuring that Ignite continues to be able to deliver great work in this area

Business development

You will need to actively support the business development activity within a key area of Ignite, helping to bring in new clients whilst maximising the commercial opportunities within the accounts you work in

Essential experience Change management

Managing and delivering end-to-end change management services. Designing and delivering change management strategies, plans and interventions across culture, behaviours, communications & engagement and capability building areas. Developing change management capabilities

Certifications and experience:  

  • Ideally you will hold a professional change certification (APMG/PROSCI) 
  • Prince2 
  • Agile 
  • Have at least 5yrs experience of delivery as a consultant 
  • Bring experience of supporting the delivering change in Local Government
