Financial Controller - Take Control of the Financial Future

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a dynamic team in Whiteley. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation and financial health of my client

What you'll do:

• Oversee monthly management reporting, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Lead the preparation of year-end statutory financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, keeping a close eye on transactions and maintaining accurate records.
• Analyze and suggest improvements to the accounting and financial reporting systems.
• Work alongside the Group Financial Controller to monitor performance standards and implement corrective measures when needed.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and legislation by reviewing the financial reporting systems.
• Collaborate with auditors to guarantee adherence to all best practices.
• Implement robust systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
• Champion the smooth transition of the financial systems to a new platform.
• Manage a small team.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

• A recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience. (For highly experienced candidates, QBE with 10+ years of relevant experience will be considered.)
• Proven experience with annual audit procedures, statutory reporting and corporate tax knowledge is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

This client can offer a competitive salary of up to £65,000.
