SEN TA (Teaching Assistant) Primary 

Location: Southampton 

Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour

Start: ASAP 

GSL Education are actively recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary aged students for a renowned school in Southampton. 

 Job Summary: 

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and ensuring students’ understanding. 

• Provide One-on-One Support. 

• Help with personal care if needed. 

• Assist students with mobility issues, ensuring they can use classrooms and facilities. 

• Contribute to students’ progress discussions. 

The ideal candidate would have: 

• Valid up to date DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one 

• Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needsis ideal. 

• Adequate references demonstrating your suitability and dedication 

• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers. 

• Have strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection. 

• Have the right to work in the UK 

• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
