Pre-Delivery Inspection Engineer (Machine Tools)

Location:         Leamington Spa / Warwick area

Permanent position

Salary: circa £32,000 – £38,000 (depending on skill level and suitability)

PLUS company bonus scheme estimated to be £3000 - £4000 per annum

PLUS 25 days of annual leave (plus Bank Holidays)

What is involved?

The position is based within a smart, clean workshop and showroom environment working within a small team of engineers.

The company sell large complex multi-axis CNC machines and automated systems to precision engineering companies throughout the UK.

Each machine undergoes pre-delivery inspections before being dispatched to clients – which is where the Pre Delivery Inspection Engineers get involved.

The machines go through a series of test and are modified to suit each customer. For example, a machine may need chucks, coolant modifications, rotary tables or a wide range of changes before the machine is delivered to the company. This involves recording the information and completing documentation.

This includes electrical checks – you will need to have a understanding of electrical wiring and/or can read electrical diagrams. (An electrical qualification would be perfect.)

The job is full time working on days. You will need to have mechanical and electrical fitting experience. If you have CNC machine tools knowledge that would be ideal. Time Served would also be an advantage.
