This school caters to young people aged 11-19 years with severe, complex, or profound and multiple learning difficulties. The school focuses on developing their student’s communication, social interaction, life skills and community access.There is chance that this will lead into a permanent position for the right Teaching Assistant. The ideal Teaching Assistant should have the following:

• Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or experience with Children who have Special Educational Needs
• A calm, patient, and caring persona
• Good behaviour management
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with and supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
