Head of Technology - Edinburgh - Up To £85,000 + Benefits - Ref 1637

I am currently recruiting for a Head of Technology to work for a unique engineering organisation based in Edinburgh. Salary up to £85,000 + Benefits.

This unique organisation has a team of rich history spanning over decades and are pioneers in designing and manufacturing bespoke products for specialists around the world. This company are extremely close to getting their first product to market, utilising all of the experience they have working for them already.

To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a Head of Technology on a permanent basis.

In this role as the Head of Technology, you will be leading a multidisciplined engineering team and will be responsible for developing their state-of-the-art product, being at the forefront of the design process, as well as driving the product to market. Daily duties will include large amounts of Electronic Design, in all aspects of the word, as well as managing a small team of engineers, as well as liaising with the Directors in discussing the technical and commercial roadmap of the product.

Ideal Requirements:

• Ideally 10+ year's commercial experience
• Experienced in designing complex electronic products
• Experienced in analogue and digital circuit design
• Experienced in PCB Design (ideally Altium)
• Management Experience

Desirable Requirements:

• Experienced in getting a new product to market
• Experienced in commercial and technical road mapping
