U-educate are looking for Learning Support & Behaviour Workers to support a SEN school located in Southampton for a September start.

Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that students are able to manage their social, emotional and/or mental health needs, and therefore succeed in their learning. 

Our ideal candidate might already have experience in this kind of setting, or you might have related experience of positive behaviour management of physical interventions and working with challenging, vulnerable children and young people.We are looking for someone who is creative and resilient. You will need experience in report writing and offering different strategic approaches.
Requirements:

  • Minimum GCSE, or equivalent, grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, such as autism, SEMH, and ADHD, is preferred.
  • Training in aspects of SEN, i.e., ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, is advantageous. 

Eligibility:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
