Details:
- We seek to appoint an honest, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our learning community to provide classroom supervision of students in the short term absence of teaching staff.
- The successful candidate must be highly motivated with suitable qualifications to support intervention and whole class progress across KS3 and KS4.
- Provide one-to-one support within the classroom, enabling access to learning
- Be aware of and comply with school policies relating to child protection, health & safety, confidentiality and data protection
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - St Helens
- Position - Cover Supervisor
- Type of work - Covering classes in absence of a Class Teacher
- Start date - September 2024
- Duration / Likely Duration - ongoing until further notice - sickness cover
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Full time
- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £80 per day
- Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working in a UK school is desirable
- Previous experience working in a leadership role is desirable
- Degree is desirable
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
- Up to date Prevent training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references covering the last 2 years
