Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary School Based)
Key stage 1 – year 1
Location: Oldham, OL3
Days/Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (8.30 – 15.30)
Job Description:-
GSL are seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist primary school in Oldham, OL3. This is an opportunity to make a difference in a supportive and nurturing environment, with potential for long-term and permanent job opportunities. The job is starting ASAP and for the right individual it will extend to the next academic year.

About the SEN Teaching Assistant
- Building secure relationships with children
- Understanding of the specific needs of the children
- Support pupils with social and emotional needs
- Working 1:1 with the pupil
About You:
- Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- Previous experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity
- Desirable experience: Care work, working in a PRU, SEMH experience
