Do you have experience of supporting learners who have SEN, ASD or SEMH needs? Vision for Education are looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor who is committed to providing a supportive yet challenging environment for children while promoting the school's ethos and vision.
The role
We are looking for an outstanding Behaviour Mentor to be placed in Primary Schools in Leeds (LS26). You will be a crucial part of our Inclusion Team to help children overcome barriers to learning.
The ideal Bdhaviour Mentor will:
- Have previous experience supporting teaching and learning or supporting pupils
- Able to de-escalate challenging situations.
- Be proactive and support engagement of pupils
- Be confident to deliver activities 1 to 1 and a small group basis
All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
