CNC Programmer/ CNC Technician /CNC Operator required to join a long-established manufacturer based in Liverpool. The CNC Programmer must have experience with operating CNC lathes and Millers and be able to interpret electrical drawings.

 The Successful CNC Programmer/ CNC Technician /CNC Operator will programme and monitor tolerances and utilise measuring equipment.

The CNC Programmer/ CNC Technician /CNC Operator will ideally have a background in mechanical engineering,  hydraulics, and CNC Programming.

 Package
£23,000 - £30,000 Salary depending on experience
39.5-hour week – Monday to Friday
Early Friday finish
25 days holiday + Bank
Company pension  

Responsibilities
  • Setting, operating and programming Fanuc controlled machines.
  • Perform precision turning & milling operations
  • Working to engineering drawings
  • Follow Management / Cell Leader instructions
  • Attach and adjust guides, stops, clamps, or feed mechanisms
  • Work to pre-proven programmes.
  • Undertake all other reasonable work requests to assist the smooth running of the shop floor.
  • Site based in Liverpool
 
Requirements
  • Experience setting, operating and programming CNC machines
  • Experience as a CNC Programme, CNC Setter & Operator with some Fanuc experience or similar
  • NIMS Certification: Certification from the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) can be advantageous.
  • LEAN/Six Sigma: Knowledge or certification in LEAN manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficient in Fanuc programming
  • Must be able to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of turning or milling machines
  • Must be commutable to Liverpool.
