Medical Service Engineer (Technology)
Location: North West
Salary: £35,000-£40,000

Job Opportunity: We are seeking a qualified biomedical engineer to join our growing team. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes, with a high level of autonomy and a structured career development pathway.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use medical segmentation software to convert patient scan data into 3D models.
• Collaborate with clinicians and surgeons to design custom medical devices.
• Produce high-quality 3D-printed medical devices.
• Manage diverse design and manufacturing projects.
• Oversee design, manufacturing, and quality processes.
• Maintain and calibrate 3D printers.
• Develop new business opportunities.
• Assist surgeons during surgeries.
• Attend quarterly workshop days.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum one year of industry experience.
• Proficiency with medical segmentation software.
• Experience in designing patient-specific surgical guides.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and orthopaedic procedures.
• Ability to discuss patient cases with surgeons and recommend solutions.
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience with 3D CAD design, Materialise Mimics, and 3D Systems Freeform.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485.
• Knowledge of 3D printing technologies.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
