Mechanical Design Engineer

My client is looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their rapidly growing team based locally in the Bournemouth area. They manufacture a wide array of products ranging from Solenoid valves to flow control products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and development of valves and other hydraulic/pneumatic products by applying experience and proven principles to achieve specification targets
- Creation of Technical Files, Catalogue Data Sheets, and Support Certification activities.
- Engineering Design Calculations
- Analysis and interpretation of technical specifications and standards.
- Supervision and reporting of development testing.
- Report Writing
- Direct customer contact to assist with incoming inquiries
- Minimum of HNC within Engineering (Degree beneficial)
- 3D CAD competent
- Ideal candidate will be trained on SolidWorks (not essential)
- Experience in a Design Engineer position or similar
Package:
- Salary £30,000-£45,000k DOE
- 37 Hours per week (1 PM Finish on Fridays)
- 33 Days holiday
- Company Pension contributions
