Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the skills and dedication to manage a unique and challenging environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join a team for a 2-bed home in PR3.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to the team, ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of the young people.
  • Work closely with social workers, healthcare providers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each young person.
  • Ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a residential care setting.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour and provide emotional support to young people.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Must be a driver due to the rural location of the home.

Desirable:

  • Relevant qualifications in social care, child care, or a related field.
  • Experience working with high-risk children or those under DoLs orders.
